By the end of the year, we had accustomed ourselves to our new surroundings and begun to take part in school activities. Next fall we organized into two groups, one for the boys and one for the girls, in order to gain experience in class activities. Our class also began taking part in athletics, social affairs and sponsored our own skating party As umors, we organized into one group and began our program of raising funds necessary to give a umor Prom In anuary, we mstltuted annual insurance, and in Mav we cllmaxed our years activities wlth the annual unlor Prom In our senior year, we began earlv in the fall, planning dances and working on the 1941 Hartwell Annual Now only fifty in number, our class nevertheless has sponsored monthly dances throughout the year, taken an active part in all school affairs, and published our annual on schedule As we leave the school and go out into the world, may these valuable experiences and associations be a preparation for an even greater success ln meeting the challenge of life before us C ass Offlcers ,gland Left to Right Mary jane Vortkamp fsecretaryj , Eugene Houser ffreasurerj Horace Howard KVICC Pres IdCl'lIl Arvil Brown fPres1dentJ . . . . t - J . . . . . . . .
