Volleyball HE volleyball team, coached by Mr. Gray, finished fifth in the High School League, having won one game from Hughes and two from Western Hills. As to practice games, three were won from and three lost to Mt. Healthy. The team was defeated in the District Tourna- ment because of the absence of several players. Though much is to be desired by Way of improvement in the team, the boys, handicapped as they were in size and number, are to be congratulated for playing as well as they did. Golf LITTLE can be said of the golf team as the annual goes to press, for the rainy season has either annulled or postponed the matches. By May 19 only two games had been played, one with Wfestern Hills and one with St. Xavier High. The Hartwell team lost the former match 9-3, but won the latter 6M-5 LQ.
