Volleyball HE volleyball team, coached by Mr. Gray, finished fifth in the High School League, having won one game from Hughes and two from Western Hills. As to practice games, three were won from and three lost to Mt. Healthy. The team was defeated in the District Tourna- ment because of the absence of several players. Though much is to be desired by Way of improvement in the team, the boys, handicapped as they were in size and number, are to be congratulated for playing as well as they did. Since inter-school competition was forbidden, the girls resorted to group and class games, and as a result. more than usual became interested and active in basketball. The season was brought to a close by two invitation games-one with Lockland, when our girls were defeated. and one with Walnut Hills, which Hartwell won 25-20.
