HOMECOMING The homecommg game was played wlth Marlboro on October 21 1950 at North Cantor: Stadxum Hartv1lle came out on top wtth the score of 20 6 The honor of belng Football Queen was bestowed on B1ll1e McBrayer a member of the Sen1or Class Her attendants were Sen1or Mary VanHooser Iumor Shtrley Keyser Sophomore Ann MacKus1ck and Freshman Bonnle Tessmer For the presentat1on of the Queen and atte dants on the held at the stadlum the qrrls rode out 1n a maroon convertrble They were all dressed tn su1ts and really looked sharp I ' ter they were presented they were seated on the 50 yard l1ne to watch the last half of the game At the Homecomlng Dance 1n the even1ng the attendants marched 1n on the arms ot the1r escorts and stood by the throne unt11 B11l1e was crowned by Ed Lrmbach captarn ol n1e was dressed 1n a n1le green formal Next came the Sophomore attendant Anne Mfr Kus1ck and her escort Eldon Barry Anne wore a very becommg red formal Then the Iumor attendant Sh1rley Keyser and her escort Tom Kanel walked across to the throne Next came the Semor attendant Mary VanHooser and her escort Tom Koontz Mary wa dressed tn a black and rose formal Last but certamly not least came the Queen Blllle McBrayer escorted by Ed Llmbach Brlly looked very attracttve 1n a Whlle formal carrymg an arm bouquet of wh1te mums Her crown was gold and s1lver wlth a football on top She and all her attendants rece1ved corsages of small Whlle pom poms Harry Woodheld orchestra played Sweetheart of Sxgma Chl as the court marched 1n The cafetena was decorated w1th gold footballs and autumn leaves Cc mphments of Y TEEN S 5 the team.
