Erghth Grade Offrcers are Presrdent Bruce Horsley Vrce Presrdent Carolyn Walker S cretary Ra hael Werstler and Treasurer Gerald Domer On the whole the erghth grade has not been very actrve thrs past year The class held a werner roast at the begrnnrng of the year and a good trme was had by all From then on ull Chrrstrnas we were rather lax rn actrvrtres Then we exchanged names and each recerved hrs respectxve presents On February 14 S Valentrnes Day we exchanged cards among members of our class At the close of the lunror Hrgh Basketball season the Erghth Grade Home Ec Class held a lunror Hrgh Team party for the players The marn speaker were Superrntendent R C Custer Coach Robert Markley and Captarn Gene Krnsley We had a swell trme and the eats were frne girls The mable champrons of our room were Mrlton Susco and Gene Krnsley Mrlton Susco represents our room on the Student Councrl We are lookrng forward to a prcnrc at the end of the year to end our career as Iunror Hrgh students Seventh Grade Offrcers are Presrdent Lester Wrcks Vrce Presr and Secretary Phrlrp Schumacher The seventh grade held therr class ele tron of of frcers and the results were as above for both Sec trons I and II Our frrst actrvrty was a Halloween Party whrch was very successful We also held a Chrrstmas grft exchange party and later on we had a Valen trne party We held other succe sful events one of whrch was a krte flyrng contest rn whrch Ionas Coblentz race and Kenneth Sloat happened to be the fastest on wooden legs We were well represented on the Iumor Hrgh Basketball team coached by Mr Robert Markley and are lookrng forward to a successful season agarn when we are rn the erghth grade We are plannrng to have a prcnrc or some krnd of a get together at the end of the school year l unror Polrce Every mornmg noon and evenxng two boys are sent to the rntersectron of the school drrve and State Route 43 to gurde the boys and grrls across the street Others have dutres rn the gym halls and at the doors leadrng out of the burldrng Strll others are requrred to put up the flag each mornrng Each member of the Iunror Polrce rs requrred to take the oath of membershlp Offrcers are chosen from among the ranks of the members and these offrcers marntarn drscrplrne among the other students and are rn charge A boy to belong to thrs club must meet certarn strrngent requrrements as to health and mental character A ' ' I , ' ' dent, Iane Werstler: Treasurer, Marlan Chapman: turned out to be the winner.
