DEDICATION A sincere devotion to the highest ideals in music, untiring and unselfish attention and effort in teaching and guiding those fortunate enough to come under his tutelage, patience and understanding, these are the reasons for which we, a grateful student body, have dedicated this yearbook to RUBIN SEGAL, Chairman of the String Department of this school. He has taught us that no amount of sacrifice is too great for the pursuit of an ideal, that the quest for musical understanding is a never-ending process, that a thorough knowledge of our art and its relation to the rest of the world is the surest way to a happy, useful life.
