To the Senior Class: The year of graduation is a time of pride in achievement and also a time for reflection. Your diploma is an expression of hope and confidence in you as young people as you move into fuller community life. It carries with it obligations and responsibilities. May your future provide for you a further challenge of your talents. I trust that your years here have provided you with a sound foundation to meet this challenge. The ensuing years, as they measure your response to the opportunities of our.changing and challenging times, will be to me a matter of personal interest. Doyle W. Boggs, Principal Senior High Congratulations, Class of 1958! I would like to express our appreciation for the leadership, co-oper-ativeness, and friendliness shown this year. May your school experience at Hartsville be a stepping stone to many new endeavors, remembering always, that America needs honest, unselfish and well-trained leaders. J. H.
