QFUWPN .mm uni XXX xc y ,f The Junior-Senior Home Economics class entertained the Faculty with a delightful two course luncheon April 10, 1924. Irene Katigan was hostess with Mr. Park gentleman guest-of-honor, and Dorcas Ratliff was host with Miss Swanson lady guest-of-honor. The Faculty expressed themselves as being highly pleased with the excellent repast. The following menu was served: Veal loaf with Eggs and Pimento Mashed Potatoes Q Sliced Tomatoes Pickles Bread Butter Lettuce and Fruit Salad Ice Cream Angel Cake The Junior Class began their round of good times for the year with a Hallowe'en Party, given on NVednesday evening, October 31, 1923. Invitations were extended to all who could present themselves with the proper token for admission, which was a twenty-five cent piece. The rooms were decorated with the proper habiliments of the oc- casion. A goodly number gathered and enjoyed the evening which was given over to the proper celebration of Hallowe'en. i .. M N , F f X. XX ,jf ' JUNIOR-SENIOR BANQUET The 1923 Junior-Senior Banquet was given May 12, 1923 at the Manhattan Cafe. ' After a short period of gaity and laughter the guests were ushered to their respective places. The table.s were attractively decorated with red and white peonies, carrying out the Senior colors. The entire room was filled with red and white roses, while a large 1923 made entirely of roses was prominently displayed in the rear of the room. Potted plants, ferns and cut flowers added considerably to the beauty of the room. May baskets filled with mints served as favors. This banquet marked the crowning event of the social activities of the year. Much credit is due the Junior Class and their sponsor, Mr. Park, for planning and preparing such a lovely affair. Daniel Thomas acted as Toast-Master in a capable and pleasing manner, while Irene Katigan made a charming hostess. Six boys from the Sophomore and Freshman Classes acted as waiters. aww XX The Junior-Senior Home Economics Class entertained the members of the Board of Education and men of the faculty with a six o'clock dinner Tuesday evening, April 15, 1924. The room was beautifully decorated with potted plants and- many cut flowers. Elizabeth Koleszar, who acted as host, lead the way into the dining room with her guest-of-honor, Mr. Fair. Lucille Willis made a charming hostess. Her guest-of-honor was Mr. M. R. Ross, President of the Board of Education. A three course menu was served to the following guests: Misses Mary Long, Stella Hefley, Alma VVhiting, Elizabeth Koleszar, Lucille Willis and Titia Belle Blanks. Messr's C. E. Fair, M. R. Ross, W. X. Ross, W. R. Schmedlng, XV. J. Park, Ben XVeaver, J. R. Frazier and C. A. Strozier.
