The first week of January was given over to the nomination of candidates. Ballots were sold for 5 and 25 cents with each counting for that number of votes respectively. The last two weeks of the contest were devoted to the run-off between the five highest candidates for each honor. This contest was the source of a lot of fun, as well as bringing out some undeniable facts.
