Unpretentious in word and manner he bears his responsi¬ bilities unseemingly. Promoting his thesis that a college exists not for itself but for service to society through the development of mind and character in youth, Mr. Lemos ' executive skill has created an atmosphere for scholorship, comradeship, and tolerance.
