, XX 1 KX, P-ff e have also had one picnic this year sponsored the Juniors. Several of the Freshman girls engage in athletic activities. Most all of them volley ball, and Dorothy Kelly, Dorothy , Anita Williams, Lucille Keyser and e Cullender,belonged to the basketball squad s year. Dorothy Kelley, Lucille and Grace yed a sufficient number of Basketball wmnes o letter, These three girls also played Tennis of the members of the staff of UThe T1ger's U'school paper also come from the Freshman lass. Othelia Ritchey was selected by the ty as Assistant Editorg Grace Cullender d as a general sports editor: Gwendolyn Sims exchange editorg Fayrene Henderson had charge the humor sections, and Blaine hose is cl ss Then too, no class was strong enough to ele- t a school queen for the annual Halloween val over us, for our own Dorothy Kelley U with queenly dignity over that entertain- ent. Our class boasts of more musicians than any other also, for six of the girls have une sually good voices, while Anna Lou Lankford, ' Gwendolyn Sims, and Dorothy Marie Play the Piano. ' a Leu also tap dances and Blaine Rose plays the trombone. Grace Cullender is the only student in -igh school who has made the honor roll every six weeks during the school year. So the Freshman feel that they can boast of aving not only one of the peppiest classes in school but also one of the most versatile.
