pw THE FRESHMAN CLASS Six out of the present thirteen in the very building in 1950 These were Dorothy Kelly, Anita Williams, Dorothy Fletcher, Gwendolyn Sims, Anna Lou Lankford, and Grace Cullcnder Maurine Fryer also started at the same time and con tinued to stay with us until '57 when she moved with her parents to Dalhdrt, Texas Since then we h ve had several additions Fayrene Henderson joined us just after Christmas in '36 She had formerly gone to Perico When we were 1n the Seventh grade, Othelia Ritchey and Vera Webster, former Dalhart students, started coming to school here Othelid remains but Vera moved away late last fall We also have had Kenneth Brown, Blaine Rose, Emma Brown and Lucille Keyser to ein us thls year elected for our president, Gwendolyn Sims, for our Vice Pre ldent, Dorothy MWTl6 Kelly and for treasurer we elected Fayrene HOHGQTSOH L lllhltG is our sponsor The Freshmen do not engage in very mtny fwciel activities as a class, although we do rev- FD English Club and occasionally go to e show, ,.
