They also planned 18 pep meetings, the Homecoming rally, and the girls’ state send-off. The Spirit of ’74 was indeed a memorable one, with fans cheering their teams on to 41 victories, football conference champs, and Girls’ State basketball. The Hartley fans did indeed do themselves proud, both in their support and the sportsmanship. The end of a perfect football season. Time is too short for us To say all that we want to. Anyway, how can we Express our emotions on paper? So much has happened In the years that we have shared together Especially the high school years. The confusion of freshman The growing up of sophomores The waiting of juniors And the dawning of seniors. Life has just begun to unfold We have only begun. But four years are gone Where? ' Part of our lives went with them. We have only the happy memories Life is strange and we Don’t know what may happen tomorrow. But because of our yesterdays We can face the world With a smile and say HELLO. rr
