THE 1966 ORACLE — MISS RUTHALENE GRAY BILL Girls' physical education in- structor ot Hortley for one year. Miss Ruthalene Graybill received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Buena Vista College. Miss Graybill’s good with girls, despite all the noise! We’re also pretty sure she’s good with the boys! WALTER KELLEY A veteran of 29 years on the Hartley faculty, Walter Kelley, commercial instructor, obtained his Bochelor of Arts degree at Luther College and went on to the University of South Dakota to receive his Master of Arts degree. Mr. Kelley’s been here for many a day. How many secretaries he’s made — would be hard to say. Mr. Carter can fill you with government facts. And if he stays calm, he’ll teach you income tax. EDWIN CARTER Edwin Carter, librarian and government instructor at Hartley, for one year, attended the State College of lowo where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. AUDLEY DEGRAAF Our guidance counselor, Audley DeGraaf, has been on the Hartley faculty for thirteen years. He re- ceived his Bachelor of Arts degree ot Westmar College and studied at the University of South Dakota where he received his Master of Arts degree. Mr. DeGraaf is helpful as can be He tells us where to go, in all honesty! CORWIN INGRAM Hortley High School's football coach and commercial low in- structor for three years. Corwin Ingram, obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree at Northwestern Mis- souri State. Mr. Ingram on the field works very hard, He sweats a bucket for every yard! MRS. — THE 1966 ORACLE — JIM GRIDER Jim Grider, history instructor ond girl's basketball coach at Hartley for four years, is a grad- uate of Buena Vista College, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree. MRS. ALICE MARQUARDT A holder of a Bachelor of Sci- ence degree from Iowa State Uni- versity, Mrs. Alice Marquardt, homemaking instructor, has been a member of the Hartley faculty for one year. Mr. Richards has musical melo- dies on his mind A better bandmaster it would be hard to find! TOM RICHARDS Tom Richards, instrumental in- structor at Hartley for seven years attended the University of Iowa for his Bachelor of Arts degree where he also received his Master of Arts degree. ROBERT LINDGREN Bueno Vista College was where Mr. Robert Lindgren, vocal music instructor at Hartley for four years, received his Bachelor of Arts degree. Mr. Lindgren’s a vocalist of highest degree. Also a bandman, with lessons— all free! Mr. Grider is a winner in more ways than one Respected by all, yet really full of fun. Mrs Marquardt is a homemaker, tried and true. Of split seams and fallen cakes, she’s seen quite a few. HAROLD WOODARD Vocational agricultural instruc- tor at Hartley for two years. Harold Woodard received his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University. About Mr. Woodard. we could write a page. One thing he’s done is destroy the “Sod Image’’! FRED TANNER A graduate of Westmar College where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree, Mr. Fred Tanner has been the industrial orts and shop instructor at Hartley for two years.
