I, Gene White, will my ability in football to Jerry Heetland and my basket- ball ability to Terry Muilenburg. I, Larry Fewes, refuse to give anything away, Til keep what I have. I, Helen Newberry, rhythmatically leave my crazy beat and swivel hips to Deanna Pearson so she can cut a square corner around the floor. I, Elmer Nagel, will my task of keeping the teachers humored to Don Speck and Tom Stoterau. I, Barbara Heuer, will my gift of gab to Marla Byers and Willa Nagel so next year’s seniors will keep informed. I, Darrel Dodge, leave Jim Hansen and Gordon Williamson under the loving care of the teachers. I. M aurine Cummings, bequeath my way with Moneta fellows to Beverly Schwarting and Charlotte Koele so Hartley stays on good terms with Moneta. We, the class of I960, being of 41 sound minds and a few dead bodies, will to the juniors our amazing capacity for aggravating those poor souls in the teaching pro- fession. We will to you all books, desks, tables, chairs, teachers, freshmen, and mis- cellaneous junk including the broken pencil sharpeners. I, Betty Schmidt, transfer my membership in the steady club to Rose Hard- ers, Karen Steen, and Marge Gathman so the membership will reach new highs in 1961. I, Marge Robinson, will my first chair 1 st alto position in band to Karen Menke. I, Kathie Reikofski, will my ability to explode generators to Linda Meyerink so labs will have some excitement next year. I, Joan Philiph, leave my winning smile to Marilyn McCarty and Lillian Strayer so the class of 1961 can grin and bear it. I, LeAnn Harders, bequeath my typing ability to Grace Rasmussen so Mr. Kelley will have someone to praise next year. I, Reinhard Riessen, leave my bass-blowing ability to Eugene Walrod so he can beller be-bop next year. I, Greg Donnenwerth, will my safety razor to Lynn Byers so he can keep his sideburns trim. I, Mary Lou Petersen, will my ability to get along with teachers so well to Carole Kluender. I, Larry Staines, will my basketball ability to Dean Peterson so the coach can have a speedy team. I, Curtis Moermond, will my way with women to Kelley DeBoer and Jerry Schwien so there will be a Romeo next year. We, Gary Hilbert and Scott Steinmetz, will our nifty dance of the modern age to Jack Peterson so Hartley will continue to swing and sway. I, Sue Snider, leave my cheerleading ability to Esther Denny and Joan Noonan so they can lead the teams to victory. I, Vernon Sherman, lay my cards on the table and pass the bid to Jim Beck so that card playing may remain a major sport in Llartley High.
