They began the year by hosting the Parent-teacher conferences, which was a very big success. For the Christmas holidays the student government sponsored the Salvation Army can drive and the tlartland teachers were invited to a teacher appreciation luncheon. Com- ing up this spring will be the spaghetti dinner for senior citizens, and adopt a senior citizen day. The student government was elected by each 3rd hour class and meetings were held every other week. Five peo- ple from this group are elected as KVC representatives to meet with oth- er representatives from the confer- ence. Officers for the 1986-87 school year were: Sue Rentola; President; Kathy Batten, Vice President; Cheryl Ander- son; Secretary; Tracey hopriva; Trea- surer.

Hot Pictured: Mary McHamara The hartland SADD chapter has begun its 2nd year at Hartland High. The SADD club was formed after several of Hartland s students were killed in alcohol related accidents. Its sponsors are Mr. Richardson and Mrs. Cotton. The SADD club has many activities planned in- cluding a lock in dance, a radio campaign and operation graduation. Although the club is small, it is hoping to expand its program and begin an alcohol awareness program at the Hartland Farms Middle School. s A D D
