In October they celebrated their annual Oktoberfest with an in school party and a trip to Kitchener, Ontario. A bake sale was held during par- ent teacher conferences that netted over $50.00 towards the German trip. A Christ- mas party complete with sledding, food, and fun was held in December. To start the new year off right, a ski trip to Skyline in Grayling was planned. This sum- mer, approximately 15 club members plan to travel to Germany as the climax of a very exciting and enjoyable year. NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The membership of the national Honor Society great- ly increased with the induction of last years mem- bers. The induction was held in the commons and each member received a certificate and a pin. The MIS had a fund raiser in which they helped burned victims. The money was given for medical research.
