WlriTERFEST This years Winterfest was a hee-hawin ' success; with members of every club dedicating themselves and their talents to the Wild Wild West ' s after school activities and assembly. The Junior class of 1988 put much time and effort into the 1987 Winterfest celebration. The result - a Winterfest to remember. The activities included such western wonders as square dancing, wheel-barrow races, shot glass competition, and pony express races. The standings for the 1987 Winterfest competition were Drama, 1st, with 130 points; newspaper, 2nd, with 115 points and Varsity Club, 3rd, with 105 points. To end the Wild Wild week of fun and festivities the Junior class also spon sored a Valentines Day dance, with flartland High students supplying the music. 144
