Joyce Hayek, Bruce Larratt The Sophomores sponsored the Mixer Dance given at the beginning of the year which was a success. They also put on one other dance. They took part in the Homecoming parade entering two floats. They served refreshments at the dance. The boys of the class are very athletic, many of them going out for all the sports. During the course of the year they have participated in football, basket- ball, baseball, band, Glee Clubs, A'Capella, Forensics and many other activities. At the Homecoming the Freshmen sold refreshments at the game and were the proud first prize winners of their float Sign Slinger's Death Certificate. A fine Christmas dance and party with an exchange of gifts was also sponsored by the class. This game completed the hugh school foot ball careers for nine senior lettermen. The Trojans completed their season with three victories, two defeats, and one tie for a .600 per cent. JOHN CHAPPIE GENE BASKETBALL Hartland Trojans climaxed a success- ful year by taking second place in the East Troy district tournament.
