ixl lf eg. .im The annual Christmas Party of December 20 turned out to be one of the best Christmas Parties ever held at Hartford Regional Tech. This year's participation among the students was better than we expected. This year the entertainment included a great deal of variety, The program got under way at 9:30 a.m. with Robert Goodrich, Social Vice President, leading the school in a salute to the flag. Then our director, Mr..Sinnamon, said a few words to get the program started. Ralph Sirois, this years Master of Ceremonies was introduced and got the show rolling with the Carpentry Department doing a skit that the audience went wild. Following the skit everybody ioined together to sing Silent Night. This was followed by a pantomine by members of the Drafting Department, Machine Department, and Automobile Department. Besides guest singer Nick Nofi who sang a series of songs accompanied by Mr. Sunderland the entertainment was supplied by the student. Hypnotist, Ronald Erisman of the Radio Department made the program even more exciting by calling some of the students to the stage to help him with his hypnotic feats. Other entertainment included the singing of Christmas Carols by Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors of the Beauty Culture and Dressmaking Departments, an accordian solo by Dennis Dec from Machine Department, a drum and trumpet duet which kept the audience rocking all the way through the performance. The program ended with a trumpet solo by Robert Brule. After the enterainment refreshments were served in the cafeteria. School was then dismissed until January 2, 1958. So ended the Christmas Party for the year 1957. if if we til? --,..,,, Q i
