Howard's first daily iob is to open the building and have it ready for the student body by -8:00. Both the ianitors are on hand, ready, and willing to help us with all of our problems. They cheerfully repair our lockers in ci moment's notice, even when busy doing another task. They are also always willing to help students find lost articles or many other tasks for which they receive little credit, but which make the life of the students more pleasant. Both the ianitors are very necessary in the maintenance of any building, and in a school building, they have an especially hard iob'. They keep windows and floors clean, our rooms comfortably heated, and everything in general in tip-top shape. lt is remarkable that just two people can accomplish all thtese iobs so completely, yet they are never too busy to give a cheery remark or a smile to the students. 9 l W .QM fi l 5 la fZ7' 75 14. , 1 l .: 'f l,' 'AEST' -Li .li -. 3 if KX . -I tx -Ar ll 1 Z xt all 1 I ' Q . ll Il emories . . . well depicts our mood as our graduation day approaches. Looking back over our freshman year, we found ourselves lost among the throng of upperclassmen. This first green year whizzed by and we soon found ourselves well orientated into the ways of high school. Our class contributions were Bob Talaikowski, to the varsity basketball squad, Helen Butzler and Mary Berndt who received A's in their Forensic work, and Marjorie Troller who won a starred first in band and went on to Sfdie. As we turn another page in our memory book, we find ourselves immersed in our second year of school. Some student participants were Mary Berndt and Dorothy Frank who went together as far as the District Forensic meet, while Dorothy continued on to the state meet. Upperclassmen! With the coming of our Junior year, we found ourselves swamped with activity and fun. Pat Ennis worked hard at Forensics which took her to the district meet. King John Margelowsky and Queen Marilyn Radke ruled supreme over our Junior Prom, the Enchanted Forest. Curse of an Aching Heart, our Junior Class Play, will long be remembered through the years for the booing at the villain and the cheering of the hero and heroine. Now our dreams have come true. We are seniors! Leading our class this year were Loran Goff, president, Jim Brown, vice- president, Helen Butzler, secretary, Marcelene Lepien, treasurer.
