MR. HOWARD “BUTCH” LOVERING To our inspirational “Big L”, who through his devotion, love, and unselfishness has given something to us all to cherish, we dedicate our 1985 yearbook. Mr. Howard “Butch Lovering has been a dedicated teacher and a player's coach. His philosophy on life, interest in creating fun and rewarding experiences, and his “Big L charisma have given us a pride to excel. Since coming to Hartford in 1977, Mr. Lovering has been an excellent teacher in the English department, and has rewarded the sports porgram by coaching baseball, football and hockey at all levels of competition. In all areas, he has been the gourmet coach and teacher. Thanks from all who have shared you. You are a special person. Class of 1985 16
