Mrs. FIT1Sl1XK'lllCI',BlFX. Daniels .ind Miss Clift stop for a pre-class chat. English Courses Set Up A Basis For All Study Graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. degree from Hanover College, Miss Bobbie Cliff has completed her second year as a member of the English Department. Last year Miss Clifr guided pupils in achieving the fundamentals of freshman and sophomore English. Organizing and promoting the annual magazine sales was just one of the time-consuming tasks performed by Mrs. Esther Daniels as a senior class sponsor. Mrs. Daniels received her B.A. and M.A. degrees from Ball State Teacher's College and also attended DePauw University. Last year she taught eighth and ninth grade English classes. Besides conducting classes in sophomore and junior English, Mrs. Florence Emshwiller was kept quite busy during the past year as she assisted the junior class in their fund-raising projects for the prom. Mrs. Emshwiller attended Oberlin College and Indiana University and has received her B.A. degree. Overseeing the job of providing students with outside reading and reference material this past year was Miss Barbara Marshall. Besides acting as librarian, Miss Marshall taught library science and co-spon- sored the Y-Teens and eighth grade class. She received her B.S. degree at Ball State Teacher's College.
