Hligllag? C6145 G-QCIC Planning and taking a Field trip to Indian- apolis was the highlighting project of the French Club, sponsored by Miss Mabel Fee. Delving into the study of the culture, civiliza- tion, methods, and everyday language of the French people, the 14 madamoiselles and mon- sieurs concentrated on relating the things they studied to modern everyday life. Corresponding with pen pals proved interesting for the French enthusiasts who earned money from the sale of cupcakes and candy in order to purchase a map of France. Eager Romanites participated in the many club activities through the year such as caroling for the Roman Saturnalia fChristmas to usj, journeying to Muncie to the annual Junior Classical League convention, planning and giv- ing the annual Roman Banquet, and attending the monthly meetings The Latin Clubbers sponsored several candy sales, and also added to their treasury through the sale of name labels and candles. Under the guiding hand of Miss Lois Rinsch, the club initiated several new members and had a very active year.
