C., was the hightlighting event for Mixed Chorus members this year. The Christmas season found the choristers extra,' busy, as they built and rode on a community Christ- mas parade float, presented a program, 'Tis Xmas in Hartford City, for the Kiwanis Club and Student Council programs, and paraded through the halls caroling for the pleasure of fellow classmates. -',A .- V: A 'Y if zl' 7 Besides airing their talents before civic, community club, and school program audiences, the chorus mem- bers found time to give their annual mid-winter concert, present a program at the Veteran's Hospital in Marion, and carry their tunes to the district contest. The group, featuring a girls' trio, was under the direction of Miss Esther Nesbit and accompanied by Jane Ellen W'esner and Kathleen Stroup.
