This familiar command by Principal Myron Clark is repeated approximately ISO times during the school year :is he acts as pilot to the 465 senior high pupils and 283 junior high stu- dents of his school family. Managing the oflice, keeping all school records, and teaching two classes were among the duties assumed by Mr. Clarlfs co-pilot, Mrs. Marion NVilliamson, assistant principal. Reigning as chief navigatorn of the city schools, Mr. E. Phillip Blackburn ably handled the many complex problems which arose, and contributed to the plans for a new South Side Grade School, to be com- pleted in the near future. His crewmen. the board members-Mr. Joe Bonham, H. D. Thornburg, and Keith NY'entz-met twice each month to discuss cur- rent school issues and aid in planning the new insti- tution for learning.
