ounae 0l'ri ln his first year with us Mr. Pribble has gained the hearty cooperation and support of the student body and faculty. He has proved that he is very capable and has unusual ability for leadership. As principal of our school, even though his time is so valuable, we have found him always ready to help us with our individual difficulties. Mr. Pribble has a special manner that makes the students feel they are really a part of the school and should contribute accordingly. Our principals prime interest is in enabling the youth of the community to obtain a well-rounded education that will fit them for life in the :omplex world of today. Miss Borden, our assistant principal and per- sonal adviser, has not only given us the en- couragement we have needed but has also guided us in steps to be taken in our future lives. She has analyzed our problems individually and helped us in their solution according to our own personalities. She has taken part in all war- time activities and has followed the course that she has set for us, providing an excellent example. Her personal associations with us have gained her the true friendship of all. She has given support to our extra-curricular activities and has helped to make them huge suc- cesses. To her we students of the Senior Class owe mucheher who has given so much towards our goals and asked so little in return. l 9

He -has patient- ly, diligently, and enthusiastically helped to put over our civilian de- fense program in this city. His wis- dom and business efficiency are shown by our systematic school man- agement and supervision. As another school year passes and we bring to our minds those who are responsible for making it a happy and successful one, we must acknowl- edge a debt to the Board of Educa- tion. The three members-Mr. Ray- mond Maddox, Mr. Elmer Lucas, and Mr. George Fulton ta new mernberle have worked continually and thor- oughly for the betterment of the edu- cational system, Each has labored untiringly for the welfare of the stu- dents. These men, each an expert in his own business, have united for the success of our education. They have practiced economy, yet planned pro- gressively. Miss Leila Lewis, secretary to the board, is also to be thanked. She has executed her duties excellently,
