President Vice President Secretary Treasurer Sponsors U6 THE CLASS 0F 1944 The freshmen may be fresh, the sophomores, brilliant, and the seniors, superior: but one class, although nothing in particular, is a cross-section ol everything. This distinction tyou should have guessed? belongs to the juniors. A close survey ot this society will reveal some realism. This usually appears at grade card time, when there is a rush to uncover the cutters ot citizenship, or during a financial crisis such as a sinking fund, which brings out the ticket salesmen. But their optimism is the thing. The jive talk they give out, the cokes they down, and the latest boy friend gossip Che's Hsuperlwl make their lack of dignity an art. These juniors are kids who find pleasure in going into contortions over luke Box Saturday Night . luniors are next years seniors and may their attitude not be stunted by the tact. lt's their kind youth with new ideas that makes the world tick.
