As to the bequests and memoirs of our fold we quote as follows: The dignified Warren Atkinson does bequeath to anyone who deigns to give from any superior height a condescending glance equal to that he has possessed this past year, his position of chief engineer of the Senior Class of HCHS. The designing Esther Baker, Martha Williams, Mary Willman, do bequeath to any country lass who can keep the pace without weakening their happy noon hour strolls through the spacious halls of Hartford High. fl hear they suggest Kathryn Brose, Zella Clarnme and whoever will cherish Esther's secret passion for Red Dorton.J Joe Sliger bequeaths his school-girl complexion and pronounced shortness to the non-descript Freddy Sprague. Webster Peck leaves his catching grin and his P. A. CPersonal Appearancel to Lawrence Schmidt .... Ahern! Louene Robbins bequeaths her curly hair and toe dancing ability to anyone with tropical ways fmeaning Katie Wentz.J Maro Pursley and Berny Bates leave that inevitable senior candy stand to any promising future dietition. Lowell Smith and XVilliam Willman will their non-abundant knowl- edge of agriculture to Robert Markins-just to aid Bob in sowing wild oats. Paul Brothers leaves his debating fjust plain stubhornnessl ability to Stump-Speech Cady. Junior Casterline leaves his ability as inter-national champion ping- pong player to Robert Baker-If Bob will promise not to eat the ping- pong balls for lollypops. Madonna Cale leaves her title as America's Largest Woman to any junior girl who can wear her shoes-3 triple A. Kenneth Dorton at last gives his wobbling center position in the Airedale kennels to Lovell Kellogg. Louise Risser and Jeanette Ducy leave their line of chatter and Parisian styles to Kate Smith fthe secondl and Nellie Younce. La Vaughn Denny leaves her out-of-town admirers to the freshman class-Don't rush, girls, there will be two apiece. Dick Dee and Gilbert Kegerreis leave their speedy ways, ever-in'- creasing milk route, and preference for red-haired women to Dwight Casterline and Bill Feighner. With one final, brilliant gesture Lowell Yount wills his knowledge ' of art to Noel Cady .... Clara Cheney leaves ten cents to the junior class to buy their un- derstudies each a big ice cream cone next year. Delores Claytor leaves her Thursday night capers at Eaton to the eighth grade girls. Samuel Cooper leaves his long rides to school on his trusted bike to George Williams. Pat Cronin leaves his seven-year plan to the on-coming Russian. Paul Daugherty leaves his ability and man-about-town airs with women to Howard Ballenger. Dorothy Dearduff leaves her dramatic ability to Andrene Blodgett. Elizabeth Dee leaves her place in the Girls' Sextette to Dorothy Loney. The change will be made the second Tuesday of next week. Jane Stinson bestows upon Miss Borden the absolute control of Bish Stewart for the year of 193-1. Watch him, Trella. Gert Williams and Kate Wright donate 'YS compacts and 3463i sticks of lip rouge to the girls of the freshman class. Marilyn Strait and Betty Hill will to Mid Dickey and Mabel Mc- Clintic their well worn ability to hook rides to school. Floyd lhfilson leaves his position on the Airdale baseball team to the indiscriminating Bob Vanwinkle. Ruth Thompson wishes her many contented hours in a Chevrolet Coach to any person who can make good grades and also stay awake in the assembly the morning after the night before. Veda Stump wills her knack of bumping into everyone in the halls to Martha Gardiner. William Slater bequeaths his come and get me glance and his sox appeal to Wilbur Willman.
