' ,l 1 X i X 5 .1 Dear Reader, Just returned from lecture given by the noted African big game hunter, Freas Kinney, my former classmate, who has recently returned to the United States after eight years of big game hunting in the deepest part of Africa. Had dinner with him after lecture, Freas asked about our old classmates so I gave him a brief summary. Washington, D. C. --Toured the White House today and to my surprise Agnes Kosteva put her head out of one of the doors and said, Hello, Agnes is making plans for redecorating the White House. Since she has become an interior decora- tor, she has seen and decorated many famous places. Memphis, Tenn. --As I looked in the telephone directory my eyes stopped quick when I saw the name of Loretta Atherton. Wrote down her address and started to look for her. Ty my astonishment, I found Loretta the head of a fashionable girls' school. New Orleans, La. --The Mardi Gras is really something. A mixed chorus was exceptionally good. Well, after all Frances Panisiewicz was the director of it! I always knew Frances would put her music ability to use as well as her dimples. Hollywood, Calif. --Dropped in a T. V. studio and found Edith Stewart rehearsing her part in the Stewart, Martin and Lewis program. San Antonio, Texas--As I passed the Lackland Air Force Base a group of WAFS hailed me. They were Sgt. Irene Archacavage, Cpl.Betty Czuba, Lt. Eleanor Kaminski, Capt. Marie Pavlick, and Pvt. Mary Paziniak. Tampa, Fla. --I spent a night in Novak's Night Club. The proprietor was Margie Novak. Sylvia Engle was the main attraction as she sang in her famous style. Margie has realized her aim of becoming a millionaire. West Nanticoke, Pa. --I was taken ill and went to the office of Doctor Jack Reese. There I met his wife, the former Beverly Stubblebine and her two children. West Nanticoke, Pa. --I had a slight accident and was forced to call a Wrecker. Robert Crawford towed me into John Purvin's Junk Yard where their head mechanic was Freddie Allabaugh. Cleveland, Ohio--I attended a basketball game there. Lorraine Robey was coach of the girls' team and Coritha Lamoreaux was the star player. Detroit Mich. --I was greeted in the office of Ford Motor Company by receptionist Kathryn Killian who told me that Barbara Trojanowski worked there as a typist. Kansas City, Kans. --I had a few idle hours so I went to the public library to get some books. Marvin Baer was the librar- ian. He is now keeping other people quiet. Wilmington, Del. --While touring the Dupont factory, I was in- troduced to one of their engineers. He was Wilbur Sherlock. Savannah, Ga. --Boarded the bus to make a trip to New York City and found the bus driver to be Eugene McKeown. 18
