PROPHECY Ccontinuedl Carl jesse recently won the Nobel Prize for his ability to do mathematics. Regina and Dorothy Ziomek are still at Harter. Under their supervision hundreds of students each year are trained for positions in the Commercial field. Francis Czuba is also at Harter, He's Supervising Principal. Ardis Rogers has established a Nursery School for children from the ages of 2 to 6. I hear she is doing wonders in her work. Q jerry Ieziorski and Howard Killian are famous Dare Devil Drivers. They started Sui driving Stock Cars at Bone Stadium. Dot Kusek's dancing technique for dancing has brought her fame. She has established Dot Kusek's School of Dancing. Have you ever seen a bus whizz by that is run by Atomic Power? Well, if you have you can be sure the driver was Tom Smith. There's Windy Byorick, Beaner Malisheski and Ierry Hunlock. They are now playing professional baseball. Windy is catcher, Beaner, pitcher and Jerry is playing in the out field. Thelma Hall started out as a referee in the Back Mountain League. She is now President of the P. I. A. A. We also have with us a few models. If you ever see a hand advertising nail polish that belongs to Grace Ravert. Those big brown eyes looking at you from the covers of all the popular magazines belong to Betty Boney. Gloria Wildoner's tiny feet have won her fame as a model. By the way Richard jackson has been elected as one of America's best dressed men What is this country coming to? Donna Tomcavage has just been elected the first wo- man President of the United States. Charles Panisiewicz, Francis Glushefski, and Wilfred Foley have just returned from an elephant hunt in Africa. Helen Lulis and Rose Ragukonis are inseparable. They are now in the wholesale business selling Christmas Cards. Mark Bradley has taken his uncle's place on Plymouth Township's School Board. Pat Stone won the Lightweight International Boxing Championship a few years ago but has now retired. Now as the mists of time once more begin to gather and my vision grows dim We find our- selves once more in the auditorium of HARTER HIGH SCHOOL in the year NINETEEN-HUN- DRED and FIFTY-ONE. 9

Clam Poemf In a valley, near a river, with the mountains high and near, Stands a tall and noble building, that we all hold very dear, The moulder of our futures, the makers of our past, Our Alma Mater will remain, in our hearts, till the very last. In the fall of 47, we started down education's well-worn path, For the next four years, we labored, with English, History, and Math., And now is the year of '51,we emerge, to seek our fortune, Each one, to take from the spice of life, a well-earned and goodly portion We all have high hopes, great ideals, and lofty plans, The rest of our lives, we know, must be sha, ed by our own hands, What we have been, what we will be, and what we are, Has been, will be, is, fixed on a goal, like an eye on a star. We're happy we're leaving, to start a new life on our own, But we're sorry we're going, because for a while we'l1 feel all alone, Without old friends and classmates, dear to every heart, A happy day and also a sad day, is this, when we must part. Many will be the days, these happy school days, we will yearn, Many will be the times, that we'll wish we could return, But now is the hourg the very last one, When we must end our studies and scholarly fun. So, Now, each one in this class bids a fond adieu, To all of our classmates and friends, and, Old Harter, to youg We can only hope that these halls will sound a little less gay, When we, the class of '51, have finally gone away. We hope we'll be remembered, pleasantly, too, For we'll never forget Harter, and always be true, And as we traverse down each one of 1ife's lanes, You can be sure, that in our hearts, our Alma Mater reigns. L. C. Smith 11
