Pm beg , 0 P Q f- ff J N this night of June 1, 1951 let our minds wander through space to the year 1975 A. D., where through the mist of time we see emerging, around a banquet table, faces that are familiar yet greatly changed by the passage of time. Within our midsts we recognize former classmates and friends. Among them are noted citizens and personages. As our vision clears we see seated at the far end of the table: Lieutenants Nancy Andrews, Lucia Dombroski, and Marion Lewis of the United States Marine Corps. Next to them sits two, five star generals, Danny Supchak and Bobby Burns. Danny's headquarters are now in Japan and Bobby's Germany. There sits jean jones and she doesn't look a bit seasick to me. As you know Jean has been riding the Waves for some time but has now retired to civilian life. Rita Kosciolek also looks well in Navy blue. Iohn Sikora was in the reserves for some time but has now been made admiral of the fleet. Wilma Long isn't in uniform, she is the wife of a retired Army officer. Over in the far corner of the room is the staff of Plymouth Township's newly erected hospital. Chief Surgeon, Jack Reese, Directress of Nurses, Marilyn Van Orsdale, Head of the Medical Technology Department, Carolyn jones, Chief Pharmacist, Iay Cease and if their work should fail there is always their friend, you've guessed it, Ioe CDigbeJ Oborski, the friendly undertaker. Ioe Duffy is now owner and operator of the Bijou Theater in West Nanticoke. Speaking of the theater, we have with us this evening some very talented stars of radio, stage, screen, and television. Theresa Hudick and Charlotte Oborski have become famous as a ballet dancing team. joan Purvin has been singing with the Metropolitan Opera for many years. There sits that famous man of rhythm, bandleader Alfred Panetti. Hazel Redmond's Hawaiian Orchestra has been playing at all the famous hotels and clubs. Did you know that the radio program My Friend Erma'-' has been changed to My Friend Marie the stars, Marie Iola and Barbara Lisowski. Ted Davis is now a famous movie star, my how handsome. Andy Honko has been selected as the nations most popular cowboy singer. Since the public heard Andy, Roy Rogers just doesn't have a chance. Iay Klinetob is on a debating team that appears on radio as well as television programs. That always was his specialty. Dr. Louise Smith, explorer of the stratosphere, has just returned from a short trip to Mars. X Pauline Amos, always wanted to be an airline hostess, she's a hostess now but not on airplanes, on rockets. Getting down to earth, Frank Watkins has just returned from a concert trip around the world, his violin playing is something to be marveled at. Bert Smith and jean Krieger are partners in a business venture, they now own a chain of hotels and diners all over the world. Since Ruth Condu and Mr. Clamar have retired, we find Lottie Mitkowski and Margie Cease as owners and operators of these places. No wonder we're all getting fat. john Przywara is now manager of a grocery store. He was always good at selling things. Lois Marr has recently become Luzerene County Superintendent of Nurses. 8
