Homecoming Floats » Above: Senior Float, 1st Place ' 'Pirates Are King of Teams'' The float was pulled by a team of Belgian horses. Left: Sophomore Float, 2nd Place. ' 'Pirates Are Feeling Strong Now'. '' PIRATES ARE FEELANC STRONG NOW Homecoming is a mixture of many activities, one of which is the float competition. Each class puts its reputation on the line with a mass of chicken wire and napkins. In return for endless nights of stapling, twisting, and hammering, comes the pride of having represented our class in the float competition. In the end, we ask ourselves, ' 'Was it really worth it? And we answer unanimously, Yes!
