You’re right, I’M not Fred Astaire, I’m Gene Kelley. 128 We started out with an enormous staff, 90 percent turned out to be dead weight. Those that remained found it difficult to work together in unison and harmony. Under these circumstances, it looked as if H.H.S. might not have a 73 Hartian. January found the staff turning over a new leaf by bringing in an entirely new one. Much smaller than most and all but one or two were novices. But they settled down right off the bat working into the late hours of the night. If it wasn’t for these few there wouldn’t be a yearbook at all. Even they had problems such as being notified that several pages were missing, one containing irreplaceable material. The contents of this yearbook are somewhat disheveled and we are sure that this Hartian doesn’t come up to the expectations of the consumers. There are many reasons why the quality of the annual is lower then those in previous years and we feel that you have a reason to know why. We present this 1973 Hartian to you with our thanks for your support. If we over looked anyone or gave someone more credit then they deserve we apologize, for this was not our intentions, with those words we will close. Thank-you! 129 Beginnings Their day has come. “If they could see me now. 132 Class of 73 “Will you look at that.” It’s all in the lip. “What are we clapping about now?” I wonder if Steve wore his black socks. 133 Memories A small presentation. 25 years of dedicated service at H.H.S. “My Gosh-I forgot my notes. 134 “Are you sure this is the way it works?” Patron Advertisers Orgus Restaurant Downtown Ludington Vroom Cold Storage Bunsley Dec.
