Board of Education William Jensen; Dr. Kenneth Butcher, Treasurer; Dr. Linford Davis, Vice-President; Thomas Foster, President; Herbert Hawley; Francis Wieber, Secretary; Herbert Brandel. To you, our Board of Education, we, Graduates of 1966, express our appreciation for your labors and the time spent in our behalf. The new building has been a constant joy and pride to us, the first class to spend an entire four years in it. Its architecture, furnishings, cleanliness, and atmosphere have been conducive to study. We hope to pass it on to the classes following in as good condition as we found it. No one, let alone you, keeps a record of the hours taken from your other interests and devoted to the business of the general supervision of educational problems and to decisions involving many factors and individuals. The long evening hours spent over school business frequently pass unnoticed and unheralded by the community at large. As members of the agricultural, business, industrial, and professional fields of endeavors, you have brought much knowledge, experience, and many viewpoints into the educational realm--all valuable to us as students. Again, we Seniors of 1966, express our sincere thanks to you. 5

Dedication MR. HARVEY WEAVER We, the graduating Seniors of 1966, dedicate this book to a person who we feel has done much both for the school and for our community. As we started our high school days, he served as our class advisor. Through hard work and patience in the classroom, he provided us with a good basis for science and mathematics. Continuing his devotion to the younger generation, he has directed the Hart Youth Recreation Program in the summer for several years. He taught many of us to swim and perhaps even to save our own lives. Last but not least, this man has coached our basketball and track teams for a number of seasons, and has also served as an assistant football coach. To him, good sportsmanship is the most important reward one can derive from athletics. As a token of our appreciation, we gratefully dedicate this Hartian to Mr. Harvey Weaver. 4
