Board of Education Herbert Hawley, Douglas Erickson, Jack Corbin, Vivian Dorman, Tom Foster President, Linford Davis, Herbert Brandel. HART PLANS FOR THE FUTURE Our Board of Education is made up of a group of busy men, willing to devote hours of time and their thinking to the problems of this school district. First, they determine the general school policies, the curriculum and the expenditures in connection with the daily running of the school in reference to the best interests of pupils and community. The Board is anxious to serve the best interests of all. During the year many hundreds of hours went into the planning of the much needed new buildings. Every detail had to be worked out, down to the last brick and the last dollar. There are so many factors to be considered and a decision made in each case, before the actual construction can be started. The Board is endeavoring to consider in every phase the best for all concerned, not just for the present, but for the future citizens who will be using these facilities as well. The Class of 61 wishes to express its appreciation to these men for their splendid spirit in all these matters. While we will never attend classes in the new building, we still wish to say Thank you for all your time and efforts put forth in the educational interests of our community.
