Said Francis to Deb (They were standing alone And speaking together in a most quiet tone.) What’ll you miss most when you leave old Hart High? Said Joyce to Ginny (as they were passing by) I'll miss games and parties and the cheerleader I was, But most felt and most missed will really be Buzz. And when from June the question she did hear, Judy gave a little laugh and then she gave a cheer. But Mary and Kaye love old Hart High And aren't willing to leave they said and they sighed. Margaret, Ruthie, and Alice with their diamonds three Will rejoice to leave and start a family tree. Beatrice, Alice, and Kaye, our shorthand speedsters three, Will miss the Gregg awards they win so abundantly. While Dolores, Dave, and Joyce, goodness knows, Will miss singing in the school's musical shows. And Don with his clever drawing schemes Will miss advertising, by all sure means. And it's a fact Dick, Clem, and James Are sure to miss their sophomore flames. Barb, Bev, and Marie, I think will Miss noon hours spent at the Grill. While Joan, Janet, and Bev are sure to shun Leaving weekends spent together having fun. And Doug, Nick, and Bud are hand in glove In miss the gals I mentioned above. Lois, Arleen, Sue, and Colleen, sure as heck, Will miss all the fun they have in home ec. While Tillie, Willard, and Don with all their power Will miss the cold government room they have first hour. Dale and Bob will miss teasing the first hour girls By poking their backs and pulling their curls. While Judy, one of their victims at times, Will not regret it. (I hope this rhymes.) Joyce will miss prodding those who shirk And Dave will miss his office work. Joan, Burce, and Marilyn gave me to understand That they'd miss playing in the Hart High Band. Pat and James, Clara and Francis, Think they'll miss the good square dances. Shirley, Norm, and Noel when it's all done Will miss evenings full of dancing and fun. While Carol will miss dancing her little jig Every evening with a book that's labeled Trig”. Pat, Maisie and Phyl, unless I miss my call, Will miss the noon-hour basket-ball. Marge, Maybelle, Gordon, and Laurence who are seldom heard. Haven't as yet breathed to me a word. Buster, Bob, Jack, Rich, and Cart Agreed they’d miss football when they left Hart. Ronnie and LeRoy along with them all Think that they'll miss basketball. And Bill and Ronnie, our manager boys, Say that they'll miss all of their prides and joys. And when I graduate and my schooldays are gone, I guess I'll miss the typewriter I'm typing this on. Bonnie Corliss
