Foreword The definition of a Memoir is a report or record of happen- ings based on the writer’s observations. That is exactly what we have tried to do in this year’s yearbook — to record some of the happenings of this school year in a fashion that we think will help you recall most vividly the happenings in your individual school year. Not only have we tried to capture and record what hap- pens at HCHS, we have also tried to capture some of the feeling and atmosphere in our school. Several years from now when you turn the pages of this book, we would like for you to do more than remember what you did; we would like for you to feel the way you felt during the years you spent at HCHS. And now, as you look through this yearbook for the first time, we hope that you will find a part of yourself and the way you have felt this school year. 4
