C. Martin, Principal In Memoriam IN MEMORIAM Hart County High students cherish the memory of TONY MAULDIN who was their friend and classmate. His gay and charming personality inspired all who knew' him. DEDICATION To say that a teacher is a truly good teacher is the highest tribute that can be paid her. Many are worthy of that tribute, but among this group one person stands forth in our thoughts. MRS. SARA ADAMS, by her willingness to guide inquiring minds, by her insistence on high standards of scholastic endeavor, and by her genuine interest in the individual student, has inspired all those who know her. Anchor Club The Anchor Club is a selected group of girls composed of nine seniors, nine juniors, and four sophomores, sponsored by the Pilot Club. Although it is a young club, it has become one of the leading clubs of the school. This year they had many projects in- cluding the school clinic, direction of new students, weekly devotion- als over the P. A. system, fair booth, painting parking area lines, baby sitting on voting days, caroling to shut-ins, Civil Defense, as well as social functions such as their banquet, informal party, and Christmas dance. Science Club The SCIENCE CLUB of Hart County High School is affiliated with the Science Clubs of America whose purpose is promoting science interest and education. The Science Club is made up of students interested in any field of science and is be- coming more active each year. Among the qualifications considered in selecting the representatives were per- sonality, which includes the ability to get along with both students and adults; JOE TEMPLE consideration for others; attitude; school spirit; good character; and willingness to do the work assigned them. Patsy was presented a beautiful medal by the D. A.
