scared. scared. U.S. and I am not -Thoncho Saephan When we are young we discover new things everyday. whether it be mental or physical. As we grow older. the ,physical discoveries decrease and we learn to open our minds to an unending amount of mental and emotional find- ings. There will never be a time when there is nothing left to know. Life is a iourney. to learn and live until the time of death. lt is impossible to control this journey, for it is ever- lasting and never-ending. Onlywhen death is upon us will we know if our journey is finally over or if it continues on infinitely. -Lisa Mann

We travel a long and tedious journey which requires all that is within each of us. An embodiment of mind. soul, and spirit emerging into a cloak of congruity. The distance is trivial and irrelevant for the end will most assuredly come. and time is, in essence, a means of reaching that terminus. The books of laws and etiquette can not forever deflect our meandering minds or suppress the voicing of our tenets as we journey forth. Reaching new heights and extending our journey elicits a fear of the unknownt a void which requires filling. Yet. again, we wish for the journey's end primarily on the basis of not knowing. not understanding, not wanting, and our minds return to mean- dering. But we shall journey forth, until we can journey no further, , e r -Toni Gibbs

6 Journeys The everyday life of a student at Harry Ells is a journey that is filled not only with familiar sights. sounds and people. but also with the new and exciting experiences that school can offer. We do not travel alone though. there are always friends and companions along the way to share the triumphs and agontes. However, we are never without the opportunity to be alone and study quietly. or think. as that is a part of every students life. if gs s, sl T is Q ls? sei Q? ts 1 ...- ki --.e--- . .M K k mfw NN' x Q 6' it ,fi x il MA Xxx w S gg kt Q M SEQ .
