A Dedication Page David L. Yount, Jr, Mr. Yount began teaching under Supervisor Raymond Robinson with a Normal Diploma af- ter two years at Indiana State Teachers College. His entire thirty-seven year teaching ca- reer has been spent in Hempfield Township. From 1932 until 1947 he taught at three elemen tary schools, Kemerer, High Park, and Brush Creek. During this time Mr. Yount left teach- ing for three years to serve with the United States Navy Seabees. Using a sabbatical le ave during the 1947-48 term he finished his B.S. degree at Indiana State Teachers College. He also completed a Master of Letters degree from the University of Pittsburgh during a leave of absence granted by the board in 1948-49. From 1949 until June 6, 1968 Mr. Yount taught at Harrolds with geography as his main field of instruction. For the opportunity of being associated all these years with the education and students of Hempfield Area I am grateful Thank you, David L. Yount
