One of Miss Ehrler's activities is being treasurer of our school. This includes collecting the money for special assemblies and the bas- ketball games. She is also a central treasurer for our school clubs. Miss Ehrler teaches Algebra to five ninth grade sections. Here she is helping Denny Good with his homework. Miss Ehrler admires an icosahedron made by the Math Club of which she is the sponsor. -

Za Che 61115: Of I 960 I greatly appreciate the invitation to write for your Herald. I have not been able tobecome as well acquainted with you as Iwould have liked. The thoughts that I express here may help to establish the relationships which I have been unable to do personally. . For the past three years, Ihave had the privilege of associatingwith you. I have seen you enter the Junior High as adolescents and leave upon the threshold of adulthood. You have participated inmany activities, academic as well as social. You have studied and explored many areas. You have grown mentally and physically. Many challenges have confronted you, most of them have been met successfully. Your achievements have been notable. Many honors have been won. From your learning experiences, you should now be better able to evaluate your talents and weaknesses. How well you are able to do this will help determine the contribution you make to mankind. Your short stay in the Junior High has been trying at times as well as joyous. I have had a part in some of your experiences. I am sure that my life has been richer for the experience. You have strengthened your basic skills, acquired more knowledge, and developed poise. You will have the opportunity to learn much more before your ed- ucation has been complete. My sincere wish for you is that you will utilize your talents and knowledge to enrich your life so that all of society will benefit.
