PRINCIPAL MR. KENNETH RUOFF CLASS LETTER January 5, 1959 Dear Class of '59, Once again it is my pleasure to express best wishes to a class who has completed another step inthe educational ladder. Your stay in the junior high has been one of joy, frustration, anxiety, and hope. You have encountered many new experiences and I sincerely hope you have learned from each one. Greatest learning sometimes is the result of what appeared to be a failure at the moment. To make mistakes is human, but to fail to profit from them is tragic. From your forefathers, you have in- herited one of the finest ways of life ever developed. Opportunities in America are unlimited. With recent scientific develop- ments, you may witness a standard of living which would have been beyond all expectation a few short years ago. To live in this world of tomorrow will require highly skilled people in all areas. You must be prepared to live in this age of electronic devices, atomic energy, and space travel. To ade- quately prepare will necessitate developing your abilities to the fullest. The opportunity to search out and pre- pare will be afforded you. Will you meet the challenge? The extent to which you de- velop your talents will determine the future of our American way of life. Sincerely, Kenneth Ruoff, Principal at MRS. GLADYS POORMAN, SECRETARY QW 91
