To foster an interest in sports, and physical activities, is the aim of the Girls' Athletic As- sociation. The sponsor of the GAA is Miss Mary L. Fontanella, under whose leadership the club has gained in stature. Membership in the club is limited to girls of the 8th, 9th, and 10th grades. Activities of the club included volleyball, softball, basket- ball, and dancing. At present, 40 girls are included in the group.
