Queen lean Campbell gives a beautiful smile Amealia Dunn, representing last years Queen Bonnie Dunn, who could not attend, crowns the 1984 Homecoming Queen, lean Campbell JEAN IS QUEEN lean Campbell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Campbell, was crowned the 1984 Homecoming Queen during half-time of the Harrodsburg Homecoming game. She is a 17 year old Senior and has been a High School cheerleader for the past 4 years. Jean enjoys swimming, running and babysitting. After high school, Jean plans to attend Georgetown College and major in Elementary Education, lean was also voted Best All Around” in the Senior Class and Miss H.H.S. of 1984. Homecoming 1984 During the week of October 22-26, life was busy at HHS. Classes were working on their floats for the parade. The Homecoming Queen and Attendants were chosen by the student body. Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. at the football field there was a bonfire to build school spirit to beat the Berea Pirates. Friday, the Pep Club sponsored a “blue-white day. And at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, the Queen Candidates, Homecoming Attendants, the Band, and the floats lined up for the parade. Taking first place in the float competition are the Seniors. The theme of their float is Pirate Busters from the hit song and movie, Ghost Busters . ALl fH bight All the Right Moves is the theme of the Junior float. Their hard work is rewarded by winning second place. Sophomores with their float. Hog Train , place third in the float competition. While waiting for the parade, the floats were judged with the winners to be announced at the football game, judges were Superintendent Forrest Williamson, Jr., Faye Neat, William Gravely, Jr. and Christine Foster. The route of the parade was through downtown Harrodsburg and finishing at the Court House for a successful pep rally. Homecoming week at HHS was full of excitement, activities, and fun. Doing a really fine job, but coming in fourth, are the Freshmen. The theme of their float is Torture . Homecoming —17
