They Work Hard for the Money The students in the world of HHS work hard for their money. The students spend many long hours of hard work to earn the money they take home at the end of the week. HHS students work in a variety of stores such as: Kroger, Gateway, McDonalds, Golden Corral, Hops, and Hallmark. Some of the students enjoy their work; some do not, but they all agree that they need to work in order to earn money. One student commented that spending money he has earned gives him a good feeling. Sharing the work load are Sean and |on Sanders To earn their money, they sack groceries at Gateway approximately 25 hours per week Also working at Gateway are Shon Sebert, Bill Hatchett, Nelson Thompson, Chris Young, Chris Bentley and Michael Whalen What a load1 Chris Clark sacks groceries and assists customers to their cars at Kroger's in the Beaumont Plaza Harrodsburg High School students who also work at Kroger's include loseph Geraci, Kent Hariey and Bobby Harris An order of fries, please! Skating Party For HHS The Harrodsburg High School Student Council sponsored a skating party at the Windjammer Skating Rink, in Danville, on April 18, 1985. It cost each Harrodsburg High School student just one dollar to get in, and the skate rental fee was free. Many Harrodsburg High School students attended the skating party and supported the Student Council. Chaperone for the evening was Mrs. jane Woellner, Harrodsburg High School Guidance Counselor and one of the Student Council sponsors. Accompanying Mrs. Woellner were her sons, Bret and Drew. Everyone had a great time. Ouch! Skating the night away. Preparing for some skating fun is Bobby Turner Student Life-13
