UT Us He .I'T-sh, . 7 s ejrjfp — ITEM: ITEM ITEM ITEM We, the Senior Class of nineteen hundred and fifty-seven (1957), are now leaving our past, composed of both work and pleasure, and are now preparing to make our journey into the future. Since we have full possession of well disciplined and comprehending minds, we do hereby declare this to be our last will and testament with Mrs. Aimee Alexander and Mr. Robert A. Gritton as executors of this estate. The estate which we have gained by luck or by some of our brilliant plans will be disposed of as follows: ITEM: The Senior Class of nineteen hundred fifty-seven bequeaths to the Senior Class of nineteen hundred fifty-eight its superiority. To the up and coming Juniors we leave Mr. Gritton to teach them about his part in World War II. To the up and coming Sophomores we leave our plans for making money. To the lovers who come, we leave Miss Baker's watchful eye. TO THE WORRYING FACULTY MEMBERS. WE WILL JUST LEAVE AND TAKE OUR TROUBLES WITH US. 1. Pansy Gayle Bonta leaves her bottle of peroxide to Mary Glenn. 2. Inez Bugg bequeaths her quietness to Janice Cornelius. 3. Charles Robert Burton leaves his toe to Mr. Barnett. 4. Marsha Lynn Carpenter regretfully leaves Miss Baker. 5. Dana Sue Chesher bequeaths her musical ability to Mrs. Gritton. 6. Ruby Childs leaves to Roberta Jackson her ability to eat like a dawg” and still wear a size 5 dress. 7. Billy Carson Claunch leaves his title of Most Handsome Boy to Billy Teater. 8. Haroid D. Darland leaves his friendly smile to Donnie Young 9. Majorie Kay Dunning bequeaths her majorette uniform to Sue Smith. 10. Norman Dale Dunning leaves his ability at the pool table to Jimmy Miller. 11. Jenna Ruth Estes leaves her working ability to Roger Nooe. 12. To Billy Curry, Glenda Gayle Farney leaves her sweet disposition. 13. Ann Raymond Gabhart bequeaths her dramatic way of speaking to Barbara Watts. 14. Norma Joyce Grimes bequeaths her petite figure to Carole Ann Cummins. 15. Edwin Lester Hank la, Jr. leaves his dumb remarks in class to Nancy Ellen Ison. 16. Phyllis Ann Harlow bequeaths her height to Birbara Ann Landers. 17. John Herman Harris leaves to Scott Jones his ability, to play broke, spend his money, and spend someone else’s. 18. Freddie Joy Hood wills his blond waves to the barber shop. 19. Betty Jane Houchins bequeaths her slim waistline to Joyce Ellis. 20. Joe Edward Hurst wills his skipping ability to Birchell Coslow. 21. William Brown Howell, Jr. bequeaths his wit to Jeffery Middaugh. 22. Eugenia MacDonald Ingram leaves her pleasing personality to Diane Wearen. 23. Shelbie Jean Johnson bequeaths her laugh to Albertine Robinson. 24. To Ronnie Smith, Janice Dayle Lay leaves her ability to drive carefully. 25. William Lowell Lay leaves to Pete Owens 50 pounds. 26. Benjamin Loarinc Lykins wills his quiet and innocent ways to Jackie Freeman. 27. Betty Ann Lyons leaves her figure to Mary Paxton Durr. 28. Glave Evans Mayes bequeaths his catty clothes to Billy Hardin. 29. Frances Jane Newby leaves her quiet unassuming ways to Sandra Alexander. 30. Graves Lee Renfro bequeaths his ability to make love to Ann in the halls to Joe Webb and Joyce Lester. 38. Linda Brown Rue leaves the presidency of the Beta Club to Sam Brown. 39. Johnny Lee Sanders wills his ability to drive without a license, horn, or muffler and not get caught to Doc Boyd. 40. Harry Thonas Sherrow and Roxie leave their ability to get married in their Senior year to B. H. and Joan. 41. Thomas Charles Stratton leaves with Lvnn. 42. Shirley Ann Taylor leaves F. H. A. Club for a kitchen of her own. 43. Carol Mary Vondracek wills her Yankee accent to Betty Claunch. 44. Sandra Lu Williams leaves to Brenda VanDykc her locker, books, and ole beat-up loafers. 45. Barbara Jo Young bequeaths her love for Elvis Presley to Keith Wade.
