Glenn Graves leaves his “technique to Bobby Smith. June Cornelius leaves her ability to get the answer hook in Accounting Class to whoever will need it next year. Lela Heavier wills her job as president of the Home Ec. Club to the unlucky person that may have it next year. Frances Davis leaves her ability to get to school early to Frank DeVylder. Nancy Shewmaker leaves her ability to talk all the time to any bashful person. Grosto leaves his ability to tell a lie with a straight face to Billy Lively. Porter Johnson leaves his markmanship in throwing erasers to Sammy Edwards. Amos Black leaves his ability to play Rook to Howard “Rabbit Sallee. Jimmy Fraser leaves his joke book to “Coochy Roach. Tarzan leaves Kathryn Sanders (as bad as he hates to) to all the hoys who may try to date her next year. Ola Frances leaves her title “Miss H. H. S.” t the up and coming Junior girls. Irene Duncan's ability to walk fast to Bitty Menaugh. Proctor Riggins vocabulary to Bobby Kirk Jones. Louis Daugherty's line to T. C. Coleman. Howard Nichols’ oratory ability to Eulyn Dean. Nancy Lou Jenkins interest in George William Neal to Patsy Trimble. Ann Kirkland leaves her abliity to get married i.i the Senior year to Christine Gabhart. Gertrude Lowe’s love for Harrodsburg High t the rest of the Dam kids. Vernice Ross' mild temperament to Emma Ka'herine Davenport. Gene Roach’s ability to put up with girl’s fussing to Donald Dean. Bessie's pep to Mary Louise Patterson. Wilbert Bugg and Gene Royalty leave their ability to get along with Miss Baker to the Junior girls. Harold Slama's interest in farming to Monnie Price. At last we do hereby appoint as the sole executor of this our last will and testament, our principal. Mr. Powell. CLASS WILL STATF. OF NOWHERE CITY OF SOMEWHERE COUNTY OF ANYWHERE We, tlie Seniors of nineteen-hundred and forty-seven are leaving now. yes, for four years the teachers have put up with us (and vice versa) and now we re ready to start on our journey through life and take with us all the knowledge we have learned. We realize someone will lie taking our place in the future, thus, we declare this to lie our last will and testament. The estate which we have gained by our wit and Mrs. Gritton, will he disposed of as follows: ITEM : The Senior class of nineteen-hundred and forty-seven bequeaths to the Senior class of nineteen hundred and forty-eight their ability to keep up with their books. ITEM: To the up and coining Sophomore class we leave Miss Field, to teach them English and to keep up the French Club parties. ITEM : To the Freshman class we leave Dan Tuttle's and Billy Duncan’s dancing ability to he divided equally among them. We are sure they will put it to good use. ITEM : To the eighth grade we leave the dread of Mr. Whitehead’s history class next year. ITEM: To the seventh grade we leave Jimmy McGinnis to make an all star man in basketball. ITEM: To Miss Field, we leave at least two veterans. ITEM: To Miss Baker we leave the future Seniors to work on their manuals. The next bequests may seem unimportant but the Seniors through the kindness of their hearts wish to leave the following things to the people who they believe might he in need of them. Frances McGinnis leaves her sweet ways to Sarah Ross. Judge Hardin’s ability to get along with the girls to Kenneth Poulter. Margie Huffman's ability to sing to Rebecca Steele. Warren Lowe leaves his ability to play the piano to any up and coming musicians. Evelyn Harlow leaves her quiet dignity to Betty Coleman. George William Neal leaves his innocence to Irmal Teater. Kathleen Lanhant leaves her calmness to Doris Merriman. Fred Denny leaves his ability to say cute things to Armond Bottoms. Bob McFatridge leaves his ability to get any kind of Math to Carlysle Garrison. Betty Lyen’s ability to flutter her long eyelashes to Franees Barnett. Mabel Martin wills her ability to have and keep a cute figure to Esther Sallee. Jessie's ability to hold her man to Barbara Daugherty. Chick's ability to get along with Mrs. Gritton to anyone who may need it in the future. Basil Gaither's height to Gene Lawson. Dudley Jenkins leaves his absent-mindedness to Jimmy Wallace. Nora Hawkins leaves her ambition to JoAnne Asher. The rumors of Martha Jane’s marriage which are not true to Shirley Shuck and Herman. Christine Phillips’ artistic ability to Mary Anne Peavler. Nelson Grider leaves his “slimness’ to Jack Cornelius.
