Displaying boTh The school colors-red and whiTe-and The mascoT-a highlander -The cover design symbolizes The spiriT and TradiTion aT HarriTon. T-lowever, The Theme is more Thoroughly maniTesT in The Tive secTion dividers. On The endsheeTs are depicTed Tamiliar siTuaTions aT school. STudenTs perTorming Their daily acTiviTies illusTraTe The various phases oT liTe aT T'larriTon. The TaculTy secTion is represenTed by The obiecTs viTal To each Teacher in his rouTine-mailboxes, keys, and Telephones. DesignaTing The senior secTion are absTracT drawings To symbolize The liTe oT a senior. A graduaTion cap and a diploma suggesT T'larriTon as a seaT oT learning, a place of glorious dreams begun. Because sophomores are required To read A Tale oT Two CiTies, The secTion divider Tor underclassmen displays The guilloTine. The rules To which underclassmen are subiecTed are represenTed by The words Do noT, while a map oT France, painTboxes, and a hammer symbolize some oT The elecTive subiecTs. IT characTerizes The desire oT sTudenTs To worlq well wiTh oThers and To parTicipaTe in l-larriTon's exTra-curricular program. The chess lcnighTs, TypewriTer lceys, and pennanTs denoTe sTudenT inTeresT in aTTer school acTiviTies. A diversiTy oT aThleTic eguipmenT was used To inTroduce The sporTs secTion.
