O'Bryan Mary LaDuc Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Dashnaw A Retirement Manchester will be retiring from driving school bus 36. Every school day he drove on his usual route, returned to school and picked up several more students who were going to BOCES. Nyle not only drove his passengers safely to school but he also entertained them with his whistling and singing. You could ask any student who rode his bus what his favorite tunes were. In addition to that he always found time to drive the school bus to sporting events. The athletes always made jokes about wanting Nyle to drive because then they would be assured of not getting to the game late. And when he drove to games he could always be heard in the stands cheering the Pirates on, sometimes a little too loudly. For at the Lewis County Girls Softball Tournament he was almost asked to leave the field by the Umps. The 1988 Yearbook Staff would like to wish Nyle a happy retirement. And last year the Student Council started a Stu- dent of the Month recognition. Teachers submit names of students whom they feel have contributed an outstanding effort in class, this doesn't only mean that grades are looked at, but more importantly your effort in the class and your attitude to the class.
